Serin Kucuk

Serin’s love for design started many years ago at the Design and Technology School of Christ’s Hospital. Due to a fortuitous timetabling fluke, he was allowed to study both Product and Graphic Design - a combination otherwise made off limits by a traditional academic program.

He credits this early & heavy exposure to the basic Design process with shaping the way he interfaces with the world, granting him his passion for learning and his ability to approach complex technical challenges.

Presented with a fork for studying Physics, Design or Music Tech as an Undergraduate, his love for Music directed him towards the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. There, he was surrounded by creatives and studied Sound Technology, which ultimately lead him to 7 successful years as a Sound Assistant in the British Film and Television industry.

He has had the pleasure of working with a range of fantastic Cast and Crew alike, on productions such as The Great, Lockwood & Co, The Witcher, Landscapers, Black Mirror, Breeders and many more.

A longstanding desire to pursue both a healthier work-life balance and the chance to work towards a vision of his own lead him to establish Kucuk & Co. in the summer of 2023.
